What is Wall Street Courtesan?
WSC offers non-credit courses via the Internet to students of all ages who want to live the best life they can. WSC's Virtual Classroom closely mimics a live classroom environment and allows you the advantages of learning at home, including flexible scheduling and self-paced instruction.
Traditional media such as books, CDs and videotapes, unite with computer and Internet-based technology, including streaming media,podcasts, message boards and live chats, to bring the latest in transformation thinking to women wanting ttransform their lives. Courses begin with a 7 day Spa Camp and range from 90-minute forums to ten-week in-depth explorations - and a lot more in between. Topics range from how to negotiate a good outcome in the toughest environments to the science of glowing health to how to flirt your way into an endless stream of lovesick swain.

What is an online course?
An online course is a course in which participation takes place via the Internet. Much of the basics of the course material will have been covered in the 7 day Spa Camp ©. In order to take an online course, students need access to the Internet through an Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as a current Web browser such as Netscape or Microsoft Explorer. With these tools, students can interact with the Online Facilitator and other students to complete the activities and objectives of the course. Online courses are only available to students who have completed the WSC Spa Camp©.
Can you describe a typical WSC course?
The online components may include lectures (in video, audio or transcript form), online discussions and live chat. All components may include books and other printed texts, digital media files and CD-ROMs. Each course is moderated by a subject-matter expert. What is an online facilitator and how is she different to the course author?
Course authors are subject-matter experts who are the world’s best and who have worked with WSC to develop the courses especially for our students. Often courses will include lectures by the course authors or books written by the course authors. The online facilitator is a subject-matter expert, usually trained and endorsed by the course author, who facilitates day-to-day activities such as discussion boards and live chat and who is available to answer course-related questions. Sometimes the course author is also the online facilitator.
How will I interact with classmates and the Online Facilitators?
Those enrolled in a course will be able to discuss and debate issues with classmates and Online Facilitators by using live chat, online discussion boards and e-mail. Most courses have virtual office hours, during which students can converse with their Online Facilitator over the Internet. The mode of interaction varies from course to course. You will have met many of the Online Facilitators at Spa Camp©.
Who developed the courses?
Each course unit currently in our catalogue was developed by a faculty member of Wall Street Courtesan or in collaboration with the world's best experts in their field. Facilitators collaborate with content subject matter experts and WSC curriculum developers to structure content to meet the requirements of the Spa Camp© and the oline course. Course unit content is the best on offer in the world and is unique to WSC. Our facilitators have an expert understanding of the content and are often the content authors. A critical part of the WSC proposition is offering students course content available nowhere else in the world.
What kind of courses do you offer? Will the curriculum be expanded?
Our offerings range from studies of matters for career-minded women, the execution of immaculate style, how to enjoy a sensational dating life, the skills involved in creating the appearance of an extraordinary woman to how to slip out of a silk stocking perfectly. Some courses are fun and light-hearted, others are more serious but they are all developed to ensure that you have the skills, behaviours and strategies to lead a brilliant life. Each course unit is carefully integrated so that the content is optimally delivered either at Spa Camp © or the Online Course environment.
Must I be a graduate of one of WSC's Spa Camp in order to participate in the Online Course?
WSC's courses are open to anyone who has an interest in leading a brilliant life; however, only Spa Camp© graduates can participate in the Online Course and WSC Materclasses©.
When do you offer courses?
Courses are available year-round, commencing with the 7 day Spa Camp © and proceeding to the 12 month online learning curriculum. The WSC curriculum is an integrated learning programme so only graduates of Spa Camp© can participate in the Online Course. How long is each course unit?
Course unit length varies from 7 days to ten weeks. Some course units begin a Spa Camp© and continue on through the online course. Check the Course Catalogue for more information on the duration of any specific course unit.
What kind of time commitment is required?
Generally, participants spend anywhere from two to six hours per week. The level of time commitment depends on the individual student and the complexity and depth of the individual course unit. Some course units are core units and others elective.
Are there prerequisites for any of these courses?
There are no educational prerequisites for any of the courses currently being offered. We do, however, have a strict application process. Pre-course evaluation and preparation is also part of the process as is the completion of periodic implementation plans called Transformation Plans.
Are the courses graded?
All completed WSC coursework is graded. Assignments are given and course work tested at completion as we want to ensure that you have a complete understanding of the course content.
Can I earn a degree or credit toward a degree through WSC?
WSC does not currently offer degrees or courses for credit. Our offerings are directed at those interested in transforming their lives, as well as engaging in discussions with faculty and other students with similar interests.
Can I receive a proof of completion for my course?
Yes, all Wall Street Courtesan graduates receive a course completion certificate. Wall Street Courtesan graduates become part of our alumni and are invited to participate in alumni activities.
What is your refund policy?
We are committed to meeting the high standards of our students. Therefore, if you are unable to begin a course in which you have enrolled, we will extend the full tuition to a time when you are able to commence the course. Further refund policy details are here.
What if I can't find a suitable time?
Due to a limited class size we ask that all students enrol early in order to ensure a place in the course. By enrolling early, you will gain access to student orientation, receive your course materials in a timely fashion and be able to complete the pre-course evaluation and preparation. The course schedule has been devised to offer as many start times as possible.

Do I need any special computer equipment in order to take a course offered by Wall Street Courtesan?
Although personal computers vary widely, you will not need any unusual or leading-edge hardware or software. Any computer, either Mac or PC, with a relatively modern Web browser will work. Click here to find out whether your computer meets the system requirements.
What sort of plug-ins are recommended?
WSC suuports all plug-ins.
I only have a dial-up connection -- can I still take a course?
Yes, a dial-up connection will enable you to participate in most WSC courses. If a course relies on large audio/video files, which would be difficult to view with a dial-up connection, the course's catalogue page will specify that a broadband connection is recommended for that course. WSC endeavours to make all its course content readily available to all its students so we try to find the best technological solution for all our students.
I’m still confused about how the Online Course works. Can you tell me more about it?
The first day of Spa Camp © is an orientation day so we conduct a guided tour of all Online Course programmes and give you full instruction in how to get the best from your experience. Your facilitators and our technical staff will be on-hand to help you through the ‘how-to’ of online learning. You can also access more information from the Enrolled Students Area once you have completed the enrolment requirements.
I have already enrolled in a WSC course. Where can I find information on how to use the course features?
Wall Street Courtesan has a password protected Enrolled Student Centre which contains a wealth of useful information about how the Wall Street Courtesan programme works. Enrolled students are encouraged to read this information thoroughly and are invited to ask as many questions of our faculty as they need. Student pre-start preparation is an important part of the programme and we support your endeavours to be as prepared as you can be prior to the course. By the time you attend the first day of Spa Camp©, you will be well known to your facilitators and have a deep understanding of the course structure and experience. Our faculty and staff will be there from early enrolment and look forward to meeting you in person on the first day of Spa Camp©.
Do I need to purchase course materials?
The course materials have been chosen and developed for each individual course unit. These course materials are to be used along with the online component of the course and must be purchased with each course. We endeavour to keep the costs of support material as low as possible by presenting much of the course content online. Some course units are supported by text books which can be purchased at wholesale cost through WSC.
I know my username and password. How do I access my course?
We have kept the Enrolled Students Centre technically straightforward and secure so that you get the best from your exploration of the area. A full-time student support advisor is on hand to assist you with any questions you may have. You can also directly email course unit facilitators from this area.
By the time you attend Spa Camp©, you will be fully familiar with the Online Course environment and the Enrolled Student Area. You will have already ‘virtually’ have met your facilitators and many of the faculty and may have even met some of your fellow student group. Pre-course Evaluation and Preparation are all included in this area, password protected for absolutely privacy, as is your curriculum schedule. You can then start planning the next twelve months around the programme requirements.
Is my credit card information secure online with WSC?
Yes, all information is kept secure. WSC uses the Internet-standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption to protect your personal information from intruders or hackers. Wall Street Courtesan does not store credit card information. Your credit card number is never stored in the clear but, rather, is encrypted in the database in order to protect that sensitive information from intruders for the duration of the transaction.
