The WSC programme is characterised by a focus on the needs of our students. Class sizes are kept to levels where facilitators and programme support staff work with individual students to provide support and guidance through the curriculum.

Adminstrative teams also provide support for students with administrative tasks, such as ongoing course enrolments, scholarship applications, study programmes, travel arrangements and access to student services.

The virtual commons in our Virtual Campus prvoides access to a range of support and social activities plus a world-class online library. Student counsellors are available 24/7 via live chat to assist students with specific issues of concern.

Advisory Resources

From the start, we support you with resources to help you make the decisions that achieve your objectives. Your faculty advisor knows your background and helps you to choose both your major and electives. They also assist you in crafting an individual Transformation Plan.

A student life advisor helps you to identify and pursue opportunities to put your skills and behaviours into practice and leadership and curriculum coaches help you to perfect fundamental skills that are critical to achieving your objectives.

During the course, facilitators assist you to define real life scenarios and review your progress through Real Life Application©.

Course Support

WSC provides a team dedicated to you achieving everything you want from life. All course units contain on-line and hard copy course notes, full reference and supporting material and are supported by on-line and class room facilitators, communities, inter-group dialogues, assessment, first-year and on-going seminars, global linking of students and graduate research opportunities.

Core Faculty are our most experienced facilitators who conduct research, develop course materials and teach at Spa Camp© and in Online Learning©. Whether they are leading a discussion, making connections between theory and practice, or exploring ideas in an elective course unit, WSC core faculty are central to the integration of all collaborative learning.
Coaches are subject matter experts who facilitate active discussion and collaboration among students by guiding conversations and providing new information, insights or tools to help clarify particular points or themes. Coaches work with small groups of 12 to 16 students in each course unit, ensuring a high standard of student academic participation and understanding.
WSC Advice Exchange is the meeting place where students raise questions directly related to their course materials, assignments, real life scenarios and progress with their Transformation Plan©. Questions are posted in the Exchange, all class groups see the questions, the responses and any resulting discussion. Generally more than one facilitator will be responding to students, giving you extra perspective on the materials, discussions and your progress. It's also a great place to hang out with present and past alumni.
Programme Co-ordinators are assigned to each new student and becomes your main administrative contact throughout your studies, working with you to manage your schedule and meet your course requirements.
Help Portal is part of our virtual campus and acts as your conduit to the resources and assistance you need to participate in our online learning environment. Staff work with programme co-ordinators and provide systems and administrative support. They also help with your initial setup, travel arrangements and any other technical issues that may arise.

Small Groups, Extensive Connections

The faculty and your peers shape so much of your experience, you'll be part of a group of women who challenge and support you to be the best you can be. You'll find:

  • Facilitators who ask you to reach harder than you ever have and classmates who provide a helping hand to make sure you understand the ideas.
  • Peers who share notes about real life experiences because what's important is that WSC graduates succeed.
  • Individuals who aren't afraid to answer any question and know there's no wrong answer.
  • Women who are building relationships across different backgrounds, experiences and countries through the functionality within the online Virtual Commons.
