For all the promise that new skills and behaviours have to transform your life, and no matter how well you plan, transformation comes down to one thing: Execution.
WSC Real Life Application© (RLA) is the cornerstone of the WSC approach and is a profound educational innovation that takes the complex realities of life  transformation from the classroom into "real life".
Real Life Application© is a set of "real life" experiential development opportunities that affords students the opportunity to engage in sets of hands on experiences for exploring and mastering the skills and behaviours they've acquired in Spa Camp© and the Online Course©.
Using an expeditionary format, teams of students, or students individually, use the scenarios described in your Transformation Plan© as an agent of long-term change and is enriched by the experience and perspectives of your classmates.
For example, you might want to better negotiate your next pay rise or test the resilience of your leadership skills in a difficult situation. You may want to refine your flirting skills or host the perfect A-list event.
Real Life Application© also improves your capacity to think strategically, communicate effectively and act decisively and is designed to foster forward thinking, has a bias for action, risk awareness and on-the-fly decision-making.
Pioneered by WSC faculty and one of the highlights of the WSC experience, Real Life Application© is a scenario-based approach where you implement the skills and behaviours you've learned in Spa Camp© and the Online Course©, using the priorities, tactics and strategy described in the Transformation Plan©.
There are no simple solutions; yet through the dynamic process of exchanging perspectives, developing real life scenario simulations and building on the ideas and experiences of past and present alumni, students become adept at implementing their new skills, behaviours and strategies into their brilliant new lives.
As part of the Transformation Plan© process, students will have already decided on a number of real life scenarios that address the key areas of life that need improvement. They fully understand the challenges and identified the problems with which they are faced.
The next step is to perform the necessary analysis, examining the causes and considering alternative courses of actions to come to an approach.
To get the most out of the real life scenarios, students read and reflect on the case, and then meet before class to discuss their findings with other classmates. In class, under the questioning and guidance of the facilitator, students probe underlying issues, compare different alternatives, and finally, suggest courses of action in light of their stated objectives.
From there, a "target rich" environment is settled upon and the real life scenario is enacted.
Real Life Application© is a sophisticated, rapid change approach to life transformation where you gain new skills and practice effective behaviours in an environment that effectively manages and mitigates the risk that exists in all change.
