WSC encourages high calibre women from around the world to consider our programme.

WSC is a true meritocracy. Our scholarships are awarded on merit to a range of candidates across age, discipline, background and nationality.

Our scholarships are made possible through the generous support of organisations, alumni and friends who share WSC's commitment to creating dazzling women and advancing women generally. We continue to strengthen relationships with global companies and philanthropic organisations to encourage the development of further scholarships. 

Scholarships contribute to such programme costs as tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies and travelling expenses.

We encourage all students considering the WSC Transformation Programme© to apply for placement early, regardless of their present ability to pay. Places are filling fast so please register your interest early.

WSC scholarships are open to all admitted candidates. Women from all backgrounds and life purposes are encouraged to apply.

A number of our scholarships award women who demonstrate leadership abilities or entrepreneurial spirit before attending Wall Street Courtesan. Others reward women who have been out of school for a while and want to return to, or advance, their careers.  A number strive to propel women into community, charitable or entrepreneurial endeavours once they've left child rearing or other pursuits behind. 

Similarly, scholarship opportunities exist to encourage women already excelling in the WSC Transformation Programme© to consider post-graduate work and eventual facilitator, faculty head or other highly skilled position.

The result of these guiding principles is an academic community that treasures excellence and commitment to life transformation.

In addition to the usual WSC application process, applicants must complete the 2011 WSC Scholarship Application Form. We regret that students who do not submit an application form by the deadline cannot be considered for the award.

Applications close by October 31 of the year prior to the commencement of the agreed Spa Camp date. Please choose and apply for your preferred Spa Camp date early and register your interest to ensure Spa Camp placement.

We anticipate that approximately 30% of students who apply will receive a scholarship.

Specific instructions and criteria for applying are provided at the time of admission. All applications are reviewed by the Scholarship Committee to identify and select the best recipients.

Other scholarships and assistantships are available for Masterclass students who apply during their first year. These include Leadership Scholarships and Faculty Research Grants. 

In addition to financial need and merit, candidates may be assessed on: 

• Social, entrepreneurial, business or academic excellence.
• Evidence of social and community leadership and engagement.
• Demonstration of personal background, academic and extracurricular achievement, leadership, community involvement, interpersonal skills, integrity and honesty.

Short listed candidates will be required to attend an interview at a time set by the WSC Scholarship Committee. 

Applications are reviewed by the Wall Street Courtesan Scholarship Committee. Winners will be selected based on the strength of their application written essay and the multi-choice questionnaire and other criteria stipulated in the 2011 WSC Scholarship Application Form.

Scholarship award winners will be selected by November 30 of the year of application for the following year's intake and will be notified shortly thereafter via email and Registered Mail.

The award winner will be required to accept the award by December 30 of the year of application. Failure to do so will result in the scholarship being withdrawn and may be offered to the next qualified candidate.

• The scholarships are in the form of tuition fee annulment or other course related funding.
• The scholarships are subject to academic review after each study period and scholarship holders are required to maintain a distinction (70%) average throughout their enrolment.
• The scholarships are valid for commencement in the year granted only and cannot be deferred.
• Scholarship holders may only study either full time, in one 6 month period, the online course must commence immediately at the end of Spa Camp
• Scholarship holders are not permitted to overload and cannot enrol concurrently in any other course or programme at any other institution.
• Scholarship holders will be appointed an academic mentor and are required to inform WSC of any change to their enrolment which affects the conditions of the scholarship.
• Scholarship holders may be asked to assist in the promotion of the WSC programme.
• If, after short listing and interviewing applicants, an insufficient number of high calibre candidates are identified, WSC reserves the right to not award any Scholarship for that year.
