Wall Street Courtesan's online learning environment is one of the best in the world and closely resembles a bricks-and-mortar campus.

Without ever leaving the Virtual Campus, students access course material, attend classes, network and socialise, discuss issues, visit the online library, collaborate on presentations & real life scenarios, meet with facilitators, submit examinations, download assignments and access a wide variety of other support services.

Our Virtual Campus is an integrated learning experience with 3 discrete areas:

Virtual Classroom	In the Virtual Classroom, students attend classes, sit exams, submit assignments, share visual materials such as slides and graphics and applications, watch podcasts and live lectures. Students lead discussions or present material, interact with facilitators and can assist other students using"breakout rooms".
Virtual Commons	Our Virtual Commons sits at the centre of student life and provides a rich, engaging, social experience. In the Virtual Commons, students take part in social activities through the WSC Advice Exchange, discussion boards, messaging and chat, attend live information seminars to talk about trends in the advancement of women, attend induction ceremonies to welcome new students to Spa Camp© and watch our world-class guest speakers. They also join clubs, arrange social activities, network with, and access profiles of, students from previous Spa Camps and see video CVs of faculty members.
Virtual Resources	The Virtual Resources area administers student profiles, privacy settings, holds the online library materials, the programme application process, scholarships and mentoring services.

WSC offers the best of peer learning. Each course unit is designed to be delivered online and to balance individual study with group work, interactive learning and collaboration. As a result, discussions are lively and intense and generate ideas, questions and challenges as you investigate your own and your classmates' issues.

Virtual Learning Experience

Virtual Classes	The first class meeting introduces the course unit, facilitator and revises material already covered in Spa Camp©. You may already know your classmates from Spa Camp© and may have already met your facilitator. Subsequent online classes typically involve question-and-answer sessions, facilitator direction, presentation of further material and revision. The last classes involve student presentations. From there an exam is set and times confirmed for attendance.
Virtual Faculty	WSC are subject-matter experts who facilitate group dynamics, link theory to practice, support critical thinking and add to learning through their knowledge, insights and experience. They're alsohighly trained and skilful online teachers. The utopian nature of WSC's online environment means that collaboration between and students is high. frequently communicate with each student, interacting with them up to 3 times per week, often to clarify assignments or respond to questions but always to provide exposure to perspectives and insights. The remaining interactions provide positive support, encouragement and suggestions for expansion of ideas related to the student's responses to assignments and posted materials. Facilitators are often available on video (we use skype), for live chat and often post in the Advice Exchange.
Virtual Assignments	Weekly assignments are posted on-line. Each assignment requires approximately 2 to 3 hours of student time to complete. A typical assignment consists of accessing course material (either PDFs or on-line), reading the material and then answering questions or write essays about selected components of the material. Our students are introduced to analysis and interpretation of the material one component at a time. Our on-line tutorials provide the instructional content. For some of your assignments, you will post your answers on a discussion board. This will enable you to read other students' responses and learn from them. All assignments are posted on-line and are completed through the student area of the WSC website. Hopefully, the sessions on how to seductively disrobe down to your stilettos whilst keeping one eye on that hostile take-over you're running whilst hosting an A-list in the midst of balancing your Tiffany's tiara on your head whilst sipping vintage Verve won't be too tricky.
Virtual Exams	Some of the WSC exams are open book, many are not. Students actively participate in various phases of the exam process either through small group activities or individually, depending on the course unit. Both the group and the individual exams are conducted online. Students taking the group exams will have higher facilitator and social engagement in the exam studying process than students taking individual exams. We've designed it this way because, for some course units, knowledge is created as it's shared and learning emerges as through online interaction in the discussion boards. Indivdual exams are posted within the student site and completed online by the student. Exam clarification is conducted through individual e-mail messages either with the facilitator or programme co-ordinator. All other exam interactions are conducted via e-mail, group discussion board, live webinar or chat.

WSC's 24-hour virtual campus makes it possible to work on transforming your life whilst still meeting commitments to work, family, fun and romance! The WSC Advice Exchange, chat and discussion boards are all available 24 hours a day meaning you can talk to all or any of the WSC global alumni in their time zone, or yours.

Real life practice sessions, facilitators, coaches, programme co-ordinators and your classmates are available either in real time or on a pre-arranged schedule, meaning you can pick-up and lodge assignments, check exam results and attend classes - at home, in a cab, at the office or a pure white Tahitian beach.
