What's a course like?
Wall Street Courtesan's virtual campus is virtually incredible. Our courses have been developed using sophisticated web technology to create a learning environment that connects students and ideas - in class, across campus and around the world. WSC's courses are highly interactive and delivered via live podcast or rich multimedia presentations with capabilities designed to give you complete control over your learning experience. Our custom-built tehnology platform delivers a continuous stream of innovative tools and resources which brings high quality video classroom discussions, lectures and seminars to your computer as the class is actually taking place.


		Students receive pre-commencement course material (text books, course packs) lists at Spa Camp and receive texts via mail during the semester. Students tune into lectures according to the lesson schedule. Often, your Spa Camp classmates attend the same online lectures as WSC students come from a diverse array of backgrounds, locations and interests. You also interact with classmates and instructors using e-mail, online media and the WSC Advice Exchange.

		All courses are developed by WSC faculty and course content by the course authors. WSC Facilitators are the living embodiment of our principles. They are passionate exponents of their subject, skilled in collaborative learning and focussed on the curriculum and student outcomes. Facilitators lead the online classes, create discussion topics, respond to student postings and facilitate live chat sessions.

		The online course continues the learning started at WSC Spa Camp and is the campus where the fundamentals of the Spa Camp© are expanded and entrenched. WSC online lectures use streaming video technology, along with standard Internet browser software, During the semester, new lecture videos for each course unit are posted weekly in the Student Area. Lectures are also available about 48 hours after being held on campus and Spa Camp refreshers are also available for download.

		The course discussion board is a large part of the course experience. Students participate in ongoing online discussions & debates with their facilitator and fellow students, receiving feedback & support whilst learning. The discussion is also the primary support for students in the Real Life Application of the Transformation Plan.

		Live chats, hosted by your WSC facilitator, are online sessions that bring the whole class together for real-time discussion. Chats are scheduled to fit with each course unit and other discussion activities.Chat is also available at other times for students to find support, direction or just chat with other student groups. It's where all WSC students can make a connection.

		Each WSC online course unit takes somewhere between 1-2 hours per week of contact time and 1-2 hours of additional study. Assignments vary in difficulty and complexity depending on the subject matter and some course units have exams. Although courses take place online, students are expected to adhere to all academic policies and attend online exams when necessary and feasible.
